Pool Recruitment: Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. There are currently two vacancies available; Two (2) fixed term, full-time/part-time positions for maternity leave (based in Northam)

Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified individual to the position of Speech Pathologist. In this role you will be responsible for providing and maintaining an effective and comprehensive Speech Pathology service to clients within the Avon & Central Wheatbelt Primary Health Service.

Detailed Information

This is a multifaceted role offering a great opportunity for development of clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis and management of communication and swallowing disorders in both children and adults. There is also the opportunity for developing and implementing Primary Health programs in the region. Continuing professional development is encouraged and supported with adequate mentoring and supervision. The position is available to both experienced Speech Pathologists and newer graduates who meet the requirements of position. Continuing professional development is encouraged and supported by our multidisciplinary team.

Northam is located in the heart of the picturesque Avon Valley only 1 hour from the metropolitan area. The Avon Valley offers the best of both worlds, a relaxing rural lifestyle whilst being within a short distance to the metropolitan area.
